Tata Power, one of India's largest integrated power companies, continues its strong commitment to environmental sustainability through its partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to promote Earth Hour 2025. As part of their ‘Sustainable is Attainable’ movement, Tata Power continues to drive the message of embracing green and clean energy solutions, urging individuals and organizations to make a collective effort toward a greener future.
In the run-up to Earth Hour2025, Tata Power's efforts were reinforced through its brand film 'DuniyaApneHawale', which promotes the message: “Embrace Mother Earth. Love Our Planet. Switch to Green and Clean Energy.” This aligns perfectly with their ongoing commitment to environmental and sustainability goals.
On March 22, 2025, Tata Power and WWF will call on everyone to join them for Earth Hour and to switch off non-essential lights from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Tata Power employees across various geographies actively participated in the event by switching off their lights and joining on-ground activities. In cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru, the Tata Power family took part in community-driven engagements. For example, Tata Power's Climate Crew initiative, which includes over 10,000+ active employee sustainability champions, engages in continuous conservation efforts to drive and inspire a greener tomorrow.
This collective action aims to inspire communities to join in the journey toward a greener and more sustainable future.
Tata Power’s involvement in Earth Hour extends beyond employee participation. The company encouraged its customers to switch off lights and non-essential appliances during Earth Hour, raising awareness through digital bills and customer care centers across India. In addition, Tata Power’s community outreach initiatives like Club Enerji and Abha Change Agents have been instrumental in spreading awareness about sustainability and energy conservation, with active grassroots engagement in Delhi, Mumbai, and Odisha.
Through these efforts, Tata Power continues to play a pivotal role in India’s transition towards green energy, demonstrating that sustainability and environmental care can go hand-in-hand with business growth. And as they march on, they urge you to join them this year to celebrate Earth Hour.
Join Tata Power and take the pledge to make this the Biggest Hour for Earth
