The Gold award-winning project, “Online Site Survey & 3D Design Tool for Rooftop Solar Project,” aims to streamline the creation of solar project designs, ensure Bill of Materials accuracy, and enhance customer satisfaction through an optimized assessment process and immersive 3D visualization tools. The Silver award recognized the “Technological Leap into Smart Procurement with the Procurement Decision Tool,” which aids in managing wafer, cell, and module acquisitions by analyzing vendor details, market trends, and price forecasts, thereby enhancing procurement efficiency and decision-making in a volatile market.

Tata Power Renewables’ Khandke Windfarm has won the prestigious Project of the Year (IPP) – Performance Excellence (Platinum category) Award at the India Wind Energy Forum Leadership Awards 2024, organized by Wind Insider. This accolade recognizes our excellence in the Sub 100 MW Windfarm categories. With a 50.4 MW capacity, Khandke Windfarm has generated 1682 million units of electricity over its 17-year lifespan, lighting up around 52,000 homes annually and offsetting 1.37 million tons of CO2 emissions. This award is a testament to the commitment and dedication of the Tata Power team to society and its stakeholders.

Tata Power Renewables Shines with Triple Victory at the CII National 3M Kaizen Competition

Tata Power Renewables has bagged three platinum awards at the CII National 3M Kaizen competition. TP Solar has been recognized under the 3M MUDA category for its project on Soldering Defect Reduction to Improve Productivity & Quality at the 1GW line. Additionally, team SCM received the accolade under the 3M MURA category for developing a SCM Costing Model that improved cycle time from 10 days to just 1 day. The Tata Power Renewables Engineering team was honored in the MURI category for their work on reducing cycle time by automating processes in AutoCAD and Excel. Such accolades highlight Tata Power Renewables commitment to continuous improvement and technological advancement, pushing the boundaries of innovation.

Tata Power Renewables bagged 3 awards at prestigious CII Challengers Trophy 2023 (Poka Yoke Competition). The manufacturing department won Star Challenger award under shutdown category for Safety scanner in Wafer handling machine – Control Type and Star Challenger award under Alarm category for RH Present Sensor Implementation in ATW MS100A Machines. Project department received Jury Challenger award under Control Category for Process Efficiency by eliminating Re-alignment of MMS Structure Installations.

Tata Power Solar felicitated with a certification from ELCITA for the company’s active involvement in their Zero Waste to Landfill initiative through commendable waste management processes. The waste collected from Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd. since November 01, 2023, has been recycled via ELCITA’s Sustainability Park, Electronics City, Bangalore.
