Mr. Jagmit Singh Sidhu aged 54 years has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree from GNDEC, Bidar (Karnataka), Gulbarga University. In a career spanning more than 30 years Mr. Sidhu has worked with companies such as UB Engineering, RMEC Projects Limited and Utility Power Tech Limited in areas of maintenance, erection and commissioning of 2x55MW LMZ turbine and 2X210MW Boiler, contracts, procurement and as a planning coordinator.

He joined Tata Power in 2005 and has worked in the field of operations and maintenance, coal logistics and procurement, across different locations including 1x65MW, 4X120MW Jojobera Power Plant Jamshedpur, 5X800MW Power Plant at Mundra Gujarat, and 2X525 MW at Maithon Jharkhand.

Prior to his appointment as CEO Maithon Power Limited Mr. Sidhu held the position of CEO – Industrial Energy Limited (IEL) & Chief Jamshedpur Operations.
