The initiative intends to make clean energy available to all households in the state, building on Tata Power's commitment to promoting sustainable energy solutions throughout India.

 

The launch event took place in Raipur and was graced by the presence of Dr. Praveer Sinha, CEO & MD of The Tata Power Company Limited, and Mr. Deepesh Nanda, CEO & Managing Director of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), along with senior company officials and esteemed channel partners. The initiative will cover all 33 districts of the state and is supported by nine channel partners: Lovely Battery House, Bhatt Enterprises, Phoenix Solar, Electromech Devices Mfg., Swastik Solar, Anand Traders, Fine Vibes Services, Srei International, VSP Enterprises, responsible for the adoption of rooftop solar solutions. The launch event for the 'GharGharSolar, Tata Power ke Sang' initiative featured the recognition of new retail partners with certificates and a keynote address by Dr Praveer Sinha, CEO and MD highlighting Tata Power's expanding opportunities in the renewable energy sector.

 

The 'Ghar Ghar Solar' initiative promotes the adoption of cutting-edge Rooftop Solar Solutions (RTS), offering significant financial incentives. In line with the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, residents can receive a central government subsidy of ₹30,000 for 1kW, ₹60,000 for 2kW, and ₹78,000 for a 3-10kW system. These subsidies aim to make solar energy installations more accessible and affordable, enabling every household to shift to renewable energy without financial burden. Tata Power Solar’s ambitious initiative aligns with India’s national goal to achieve 40 GW of solar rooftop installations. With over 2 GW of solar rooftops already installed nationwide, it is projected to offset approximately 51,674,454.89 tons of CO2, equivalent to planting 18 lakh trees over a lifetime of 25 years.
