The 2024 Smart Grid exercise evaluated 92 Utilities across 36 countries/ markets recognizing global best practices in Smart Grid Deployment. These utilities were evaluated and ranked based on 7 critical parameters – Monitoring & Control, Data Analytics, Supply Reliability, DER Integration, Green Energy, Security, and Customer Empowerment and Satisfaction.
In the evaluation process, Tata Power-DDL achieved an impressive score of 83.9%. The company performed exceptionally well on four key parameters – Monitoring & Control, Green Energy, Security and Customer Empowerment & Satisfaction, making it the only Indian discom ranked among the top 10 globally.
